-Projector is a JVC DLA-NX7. 4096x2160 native res, HDR capable, and all that cool stuff. And man does it project a razor sharp picture, the contrast ratio and color accuracy is unbelievable for a projected image. 3D movies are completely crosstalk free. This projector recently replaced a 1080p Epson unit from 2011. Just a night and day difference in every way.

Hey man, the Batcave started out with a 480i CRT projector and a laserdisc player. I'm still very much a Standard Def kinda guy at heart! 😜

Damn how bigs your house? Looks awesome. Is that snow? How many people do you have to share this playground with?

It's really just a midsize '70s home with a few upgrades done to it over the years. It's just me and the equally geeky missus.
And yep, that's snow. 😀

That's my cozy desk area. I really need to tidy up the cable mess beneath it someday.
Otherwise, I like it. A lot of space for doing actual work besides having some fun on my retro machines.

Plants, people. Plants..

You seriously need more green in your rooms.
As it was common in office rooms.

Just get a spider plant. Or two.

Whoa! 3D Super Woofer!

The audio quality is amazing, but the tapedecks are a pain. Lots of brittle plastic parts. Had to repair them with the AkBkukU method.

Plants always die because I neglect them and that makes the room look really depressing. 😁

This is where I have been spending most of my time for the last couple weeks. I've recently started rebuilding a 386 DX33 that had belonged to my mother. It was the computer I first learned to program on. You can see it on the right (it's the bottom desktop), and it's running DOS 5 with Windows 3.0 and has a Sound Blaster (CT1350B). On top of it is a P166 MMX running DOS 6.22 and Win3.11 and the cool thing about that is that it has a licensed copy of Autodesk 3D Studio R4.1 with the security dongle (something I've spent many years looking for and finally found about 2 years ago). Under the desk (on the right) is a P2 450Mhz running Win98SE (with a NVidia Riva TNT and a Voodoo2) and to it's left is a Pentium 4 running Windows XP. The more modern stuff is all in the house but I have so much fun out here playing Lemmings and The Incredible Machine with my kids.

It looks a bit different now. I got rid of the monitor because it took a lot of space and replaced it with a wider flat screen monitor. Also its now a lot messier

The black box is just covering up a discord for security’s sake. Systems are, from left to right, a Windows XP build, a PowerMac G3, my Windows 98 machine, and my modern machine. If anyone wants a list of the hardware contained, and or to know about the unseen games console collection, just ask.
