I was just looking through my email and found out that I have not been active here for past 2 years. A lot of things has changed since my last post, I advanced A LOT in solving computer problems. Well I am not saying I am a pro now, but I do know what I am doing more and more.
Last week I got my hands on a CT1350B that got stolen all socketed chips and ran over by a forklift. Well, I like challenges, so I tried to save this poor thing. And seems like I succeeded. 😀
Here is a test of the assembled card. For the test I robbed YM3014 from my other card since the replacement still didn't arrive from China. And sure, I have PAL chips and SAA1099 laying around, so I guess a little C/MS upgrade shouldn't hurt.

Sorry for the derpy autofocus, it was shot fast at 2am and I really needed to go to bed. And also the language - I am not native english speaker, that's Czech FIY 😀
The only thing missing now is the metal plate. Sadly that's the first thing that gets stripped at recycle centres. Maybe I will find somebody with CNC or laser to make me replacements.
I have more cards saved now. If just a one person likes to look at those progress of saving old soundcards, just tell me, I have more pictures from more soundcard restorations 😀
I got the idea of posting this here after I've seen newest video by LGR on his Blerbs channel about fake OPL chips. This thing is equipped with OPL2 bought from ebay. I don't actually know if it is fake or not, but it works great so I will not think about it too much. But what is your opinion on this topic?
