I have my Sound Blaster Pro 2.0 all setup with DOS 6.22 and Win3.11
In DOS it works great and everything works and it can play MIDI files.
I just have to load PLAYMIDI.EXE in autoexec.bat

However when I start WIn3.11 the wave files play fine and CDROMs play fine.
But MIDI’s don’t play ?

When I try to open a MIDI file in Win3.11 “media player” I get an error message that reads “MIDI files may not play correctly with the current setup”.

How can I fix this ?

Hi, are the MIDI Mapper and the [MCI] device f0r MIDI installed ? They can be installed in Control Panel -> Drivers.

Create a new MIDI map and make sure all 16 channels are routed to the correct device. Sometimes, you have to do this by hand for whatever reason.
