Does anyone have an AMD Am486 DX4-100V16BGC, DX4-100V16*, or any other AMD socket 3 which is a DX4-100 and has 16KB of WB L1 cache? Can you check to see if it is 2x/3x or 3x/4x for the clock multiplier?
The AMD DX4 was more common with 8 KB cache, WB, or WT, however I am inquiring only about the 16KB version of the DX4-100. I would like to know if it has a 2x/3x multiplier option or a 3x/4x multiplier option. The DX5-133's had 3x/4x, whereas the DX4-100-8KB had 2x/3x. So what about the DX4-100 16KB chips? Were they really DX5-133's with DX4-100 markings?
[Note, I also posted this topic at the cpu-world forum, although that crowd generally seems more interested in collecting than testing].
