I guess Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood/Commandos 1/Desperados 1 in 4k would be a nice example if anyone managed to run it in such a resolution
Albert and Otto
Trine 4
Toby: The Secret Mine
Trine 3
The Cave
I updated Abuse SDL port in 2016 to do that:
I think you should be able to add 2x your res in nvidia control panel with latest drivers for even better picture 😉
if you connect to 4k tv you can even add 8k 😀
The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories
8k 😀

The fun thing is that the original releases of Abuse (prior to v2.0) also had the same feature with resolutions of at least up to 1280x1024 supported. This was eventually only reserved for the level editor, but earlier versions' readme files even contain a warning that playing in high-res might spoil your playthrough as you can see more of the level at once.
I believe that modern re-releases of both Z and Earth 2140 have this zoom out feature, no? Also Seven Kingdoms 2 HD. I'm not sure any of these actually allow dynamic zoom in-game as shown with LBA though, I think Seven Kingdoms doesn't have it, or I haven't figured out how to use it.
Oh, and Nyerguds C&C95 patch allows running in various high resolutions with everything being extra tiny.

The pixel art is so good in the original C&C/RA games, I still prefer 320x200 when using a 50" screen.

The modern port of Z is garbage. Earth 2140 too supposedly, but I haven't verified myself.
Command & Conquer 95 does support high resolution, but you get annoying artifacts when there isn't enough map to fill it (some maps are smaller than 800x600) plus you need a lot of scaling headroom to do aspect ratio correction. Unless you have a 8K monitor, I really wouldn't recommend going above 800x600.

Yes, when I read that and that the source code is available I had to do something about it. Higher resolution does spoil some of the secrets. It also affects enemies, because they get activated when they enter the screen area. But in a way "it is a feature, not a bug", because that way the difficulty balances itself; you get to see more of the level and have higher spacial awareness, but you get to fight more enemies at once.
Is that abuse patch available somewhere?
Song of the Deep
Trine 2

Fist level is small, so if you want to make a picture you could rename some other level to "level00.spe". The game is rendered using the CPU, so don't be surprised if it becomes unplayable on higher resolutions.
Monochroma
it's funny i got "Couldn’t recompress the image to the maximum file size of 2 MiB. Please manually resize the image." message for a 807 KiB png file
Hence using zip
