The Geforce 6200 is one of the best PCI cards along with Radeon 7000 series. For AGP they are pretty good too !

I think the two sound cards are both generic Creative ones. Not spectacular, but always useful. I was hoping the top one was a Vortex 2 but on close inspection it looks like it has a 'CT' number.

Just wondering if it's worth the 45-minute drive across town + haggling to go nab.

a nos geforce3 ti500. asus v8200t5
i put this in my pentium iii tualatin rig which currently has a geforce4 ti4600.
i am going to attempt a socket 423 build and put the ti4600 there instead.

The other 2 video cards look very similar to some nvidia TNT2 M64 cards I've seen before, except these do not have the fan over the heatsink.

The top card screams "I might be a Voodoo3 2000" to me. But aha2940 is most probably right, they look like TNT2 M64/Vanta.

That was my first thought, but after a good look around I don't see any V3s that match it exactly. Also, neither of my V3s (2k & 3k) have a 1.5V AGP key - AFAIK none of them did. I actually have some junky FX5200s that look more like that, so I'm guessing more along those lines.

Yellow card is 100% a TNT2 M64. Google "Nvidia Riva TNT2 M64 CM64 A 32MB" and you will see an amazon listing for the same card. can even make out the CM64A text on the picture you linked.

Yes, glue from Loctite. Removed whit specific product and very Light damage. i cloud be happy, is hard to find not fake cpu and i have paied little. What you see are like shadows when glue gone, surface is totally free.

Depends on your total out of pocket. Perhaps if you have an all electric card. How much is it?

Isn't the 7950 the last native AGP Nvidia card? Could use it in a high end P4 build I guess.

Got recently a 386 board based on the Symphony Labs Haydn chipset (SL82C461 , it's actually a 386/486 chipset) - always wanted one since it's one of those uncommon/good chipsets:

It has an interesting DTK BIOS - never saw one like it. It even has some built-in utilities that you invoke with ctrl+alt+5 so you have a calculator and hdd parking utility like you loaded some TSR. You also have a clock and can have the speaker beep each hour to remind you the time 🤣

I get 11.30fps in DOOM timedemo at high detail and 2.0fps in Quake 🤣

I've had a BFG 6800GT OC and a 7600GT 512MB AGP sitting on my GPU shelf for ages & I haven't managed to use either of them in a build yet.

I received a very similar board recently and have been looking forward to testing it out. It is the DTK PEM-4030Y. I'm not sure what the difference is between your board and my board (PEM-0036Y), or why DTK made two versions of a similar board. I'm also curious why my board has an AMI BIOS while yours has a DTK BIOS. Would you be willing to share your BIOS image? One odd bit about my board is that it came with a RTC that I haven't encountered before; it's an STMicroelectronics MK48T87B-24. I haven't checked yet, but hopefully it is pin compatible with the Dallas 12887.

I haven't sold anything since 2006. It is pretty time consuming work. But there will come a time when it all has to go, perhaps in our late 60's, that is assuming we don't die first. So even stuff you don't have an active interest in, if it might be worth something in 20 years, it could be a solid investment. For $30 CAD, it might be worth the drive, unless you have a car full of children screaming, then nevermind.

Apparently, people always think their stuff is worth more than what they have paid for. That's why we have all those crazy ebay prices. But in the end, it's the same as saying: only because something is listed for 100€ doesn't mean it's worth 100€. What statement you prefer mostly depends on whether you are the seller or the buyer...

Knowing that card, I wouldn't have bought it even for 35€.

Heh, if I still have all this stuff cluttering up my apartment in my 60s, I'll have done something wrong. To be honest, I think most of this stuff is gonna be worth Z-E-R-O once 'we' all get bored of it & the retro fad dies out. Gen Z's kids aren't gonna want any of this crap.

pinout-wise it seems both MK48T87B and DS12887 are compatible - DS just has more ram in it as far as I can see
