I haven't spent much time with Windows 95 over the years so I decided to install 95C on my Dell Dimension XPS T700r and get some 95 experience (yes, this machine is overkill for 95, but it works so I'm fine with it 😁). I knew I had to install it on something after receiving an original OEM disc for 95C from someone who used to work for a local computer store. Anyway, everything is running smoothly (aside from the Nvidia Control Panel for my Ti 4200 not functioning properly, but I don't know if there's any way to fix that), but I can't get any USB game controllers to work. In Windows 98SE and ME, my PS4 arcade stick works right out of the box and I can use it in pretty much any game I choose, but 95 won't let me choose the HID driver that it gives as an option (it looks like it will, but clicking next just closes the setup wizard). An older USB Logitech gamepad from 2006 also doesn't work. I have the USB supplements installed so I assumed this would be just as easy to set up as it was in 98 and ME (literally just plug and play). Is there an updated generic driver for USB game controllers that I need?
