Hello! I recently found this IBM in nice condition but unfortunately the hard disk is wiped clean. I've been hunting for the recovery disks for this model but haven't been able to find one. Archive.org seems to have several recovery disks for Aptiva but not for this exact model afaik. It's Pentium 120 MHz with 64 Mb of RAM and I think it shipped with Windows 95 in '96.

thank you! I'm going to download those for later testing. I already downloaded and tried this one: https://archive.org/details/1996aptivacracked

It installed just fine. Only thing it is missing is the video drivers for SiS 6205 but i found them elsewhere.

That cracked disk is for Aptiva 2159 Stealth models.

is this information located in the recovery media or somewhere else?

They can be identified by part number (in this case 76H3725 and 76H3721): http://ps-2.kev009.com/pcpartnerinfo/ctstips/deca.htm
