can you make vdms run in win2k and not in dos?? i would like to be able to use it to make windows think i have a soundcard

VDMSound is made for Win2K and the other NT OS's. Did you not read the description?

No, what lorph means is that he wants a soundcard emulator that can be used in Windows for Windows games, etc. Maybe even one that can show up as a soundcard in Device Manager. The question remains - WHY?

Ok, that's so odd it didn't even occur to me.

The question remains - WHY?

Especially since "on-board" audio seems almost unavoidable nowadays. Perhaps there is audio on-board and it's been disabled at the BIOS level.
