I am wondering if anyone has gotten the original EISA version (not "Enhanced") of the QVision 1024 to do more then 8bit color at ANY resolution? The card has 1MB VRAM so should be able to do 800x600 16bit and 640x480x24bit. However, the built in drivers for WinNT 4.00 only allow for 8bit color at those resolutions. I checked and found two driver packages from Compaq (SP2377 and SP2732) which are supposedly updated drivers for the 1024 and 1280 cards. However, installing them causes a reversion to the plain SVGA driver (640x480 and 800x600 x 16 colors). In fact the INF file does not list the 1024 at all but only the 1280. TIA!
