Oh, hey, I made an EP together with another guy, back when I was still making beats:

My tracks are the even numbers!
I've never gotten paid except for maybe one or two live gigs where the whole band made like 50€...
Hello Vogoners! I've been reading here for years but this is my first post. I'm going to try to post a couple pics of my Computer Lab and I'll post a link to a page on my site I am setting up. I hope I don't screw this up, here goes:
This is my DOS Corner of my Lab. I have several old computers in this corner all using some form of MS-DOS, or OS/2, starting with Tandy/MS-DOS 3.3, then PC-DOS 3.3, MS-DOS 5.0, OS/2 1.1, OS/2 2.1, OS/2 Warp 3, OS/2 Warp 4, Win 3.11, Win95, Win98SE, and finally WinME.
This is another corner where I have another DOS machine and a recently setup Win98SE machine. The DOS machine is a 286-12 and I have it setup on the internet through an ISA Ethernet card and it also has an external serial modem. The Win98SE machine is a P-III 550. I set it up for some windows games.
Here's a link to my website page showing my entire Lab:

I probably have some old computers that can be useful for retro gaming if any one wants one. I haven't finished cataloging everything but let me know what you may be looking for and I'll look to see if I have it. Mostly Pentium to Pentium 4.

Bit cramped innit?
@kolderman,
Yes, not good if you're claustrophobic! This is way better than it used to be. When my dad moved out of this space I moved in and this is twice the space I had before. Unfortunately I have to work around the pool table. It's not mine, it belongs to my wife and it was here when her grandparents lived here. Doesn't want to get rid of it.
It's all good. It's just me. I just work with it. And I use the pool table a lot for setups and repairs. I would like to have a better DOS and 8-bit section. I may be able to claim more space in another room. But I have to throw out some stuff first!

That is one cool setup, though. Planning on turning my back room into my computer lab/home office/repair room for projects and other things + an old laptop running pfSense firewall and setting up networks for my main computers, retro computers, and the ones that need virus/malware removal to prevent the spread of the virus from going through my main home network.

Well, then, you're a producer and publisher as well.

So I have to ask, why did you stop? Do you still do music at all?

I'm not surprised the lack of space with so many CRT's! Most of us have at least compromised on screens or KVM's or both. I'm impressed 😀
all these cramped spaces are very inspiring, I want my home to look like that :3

Beauty Dave. Recently did a mass reorganization and cable management project on the retro systems as well. So satisfying once it's tackled.

I think it's because my taste in music changed (less rap music, more and more rock and folk) and I picked up steel-string guitar to accompany myself while singing. I had been playing classical guitar for years before getting into making beats, so it was reverting back to my original instrument.
I've been thinking about tinkering with sampled beats again but I only ever used Reason (up to 4.0) and now I'm not sure what software to use because I don't know about VSTs and stuff because Reason didn't support them but I figure they're pretty standard now 😆

An update with a what's what of my 'Retro Desk' now that everything is setup and I'm using it during this pandemic.
Yes, it's a proton pack to the left. I kinda have nowhere else to keep it.
