Anyone heard of the game "Paragon" by Softdisk? Frenkel has one version listed on his website, but its not the one I'm looking for. Even mobygames lists it, but again wrong version.

The version I am looking for looked like this:

I had a demo ages ago that was included on a paragon shareware disk, but I seemed to have lost even that now.

The designer of the game is up in the air though. One site claims it was Todd Lewis and mobygames and the rest say their version was created by Nick Peck, Tom Hall, John Romero, etc

There seems to be such small amounts of info on this game....[/img]

It is still being sold online: http://www.virtualsoftware.com/ProdPage.cfm?ProdID=353. Softdisk was (is?) not a developer but rather budget distributor. This particular game looks like fairly typical one-person shareware they picked for distribution. Now that they stopped distributing it the author uses different channel.
This may also help: http://www.gb64.com/game.php?id=13387&d=45

I was just a little taken back by that buy page, because they don't mention what relation they have to Softdisk or how they attained the rights to sell the game. It also mentions 'Flat Rock Software' another company I can't get any info on.

I may email them, but as it is I really don't trust this site. For a proffessional they have some things to learn.

That C64 page lists Nick Peck as a developer. Mobygames has some information about him.
