i forgot to menction... i got a realtek HD sound card, integrated, in a notebook, also i like to put here my config file... not that matter, since no cvs or original version runs opl3 on my sistem. everything has been run as it comes, the config file has no been modifies except for the dynamic an cycles option (3000 is too low) so. if i need to pos my config file letme know, please.

also i forgot... i've tryied the same dosbox on my desctop pc, has a sound blaster x-fi extreme music, anything else is compatible... and no music except for the opl2. i dunno what is wrong.Thanks

try changing the sbtype.
If opl2 music works this means that DOSBox detects your soundcard just fine.

if you didn't touch the [sblaster] section of your configfile you should be hearing an opl-3. the default is set to an sb16 which used an opl-3.

are you sure you are hearing opl-2 and not pc speaker? Prince of persia will not detect sb16 if cycles are above 3000.
