I imagine already the answer is no, but did some eventually also modded drivers exists to try this card with such old operating system like Win ME? I still need to buy a retail Win XP and I can't use it on the only mobo where I have a newer o.s.

Nope. The newest ATI card that have drivers for Win9x / ME is the X850XT PE with beta drivers.
The newest verified working Nvidia card with modified drivers for Win9x / ME is the 7900GTX. G80 8800 series are maybe supposed to work but I have not been able to get the 768MB cards working and have not had a chance to test the 640MB or 320MB cards. G92 based cards do not work.

Thanks. I always liked those HD3x50 cards, being those latest generations of AGP 8x beside with bridge chips cards. I'll buy a newer o.s. to make newer builds.
