A local [1] warehouse full of old, mostly 90's, PCs is closing down and they want to sell everything quickly.
I can't get everything, and will have to choose 3 cases/machines.
What would be your top 3 (or more, I'm not picky) priorities to get? See images below.
The oldest I could see is the Bull Micral 60 286.
Can you identify them by look? The images tend to be too blurry to make out the model names.

I'm thinking of getting the AST, I think that's a 486, and a Compaq Pentium MMX, and a generic beige mini/midi-tower.

Would get on of the IBM Aptivas, as they are rare to show up on eBay.

Is this just offline selling, no online auction or anything?

Just offline. I was thinking of putting some of them in storage to sell later at eBay, but it would have to be high value items for me in order to make the investment. Shipping is $25+ world wide from where I'm based, $42 for 10kg, a bit expensive for buyers, I think?

I'd get the server in pic 3, the fat one in pic 5, and probably pic 8. difficult to tell without opening them up though. Pic 3 interests me the most. Looks like it has a full AT motherboard in it. Pic 5 is because I want that case, but obviously other members have different interests. Personally I'd probably pick it all up. A random working 486, parted out, is going to get you at least 200 GBP if you sell on ebay. Looks like there could be some real gems there.

Pic 5 systems are XT or 286 era. Usually easy to sell. Acer 750 stands out to me as possibly 8086 but the dtk above it is likely 286. What sort of computers are you looking to collect though?

486 and Pentium MMX/K6-2 I'd like to collect, otherwise sell. XTs are already in my collection.

I hope that Celsius 1000 isn't a description of how hot the system runs =). That case is cool though. Probably some of the other machines would be more valuable , especially the older they get.

What is that slot for on the Celsius 1000? Security card or something like that?

Pentium II with 440LX or 440BX chipset. Not that interesting yet.

Yep, that can be used for security card readers, it doesn't mean one is in there though.

The one with the Plextor Ultraplex should have SCSI, so it might a high-end PC. The one with the QIC drive similar. The black tower is a Chieftec Dragon - a decent case I've used since 2005.

Thanks! Which picture/machine has the QIC drive? I can't find it.

long weekend coming up, could of been a good holiday destination, I'm not even joking. stupid lock down!
I would think you could resell the smaller beige cases at a slight profit, either empty or as complete system.
Older the system, harder it is to find and worth more. OEM brands like Compaq and even those IBM's are worth less then generic PC's

But depends on what interest you as well, I've no real desire for a 286 but that nothing special Socket 370 Fujitsu Siemens Scenic T (Image 9 top center) is worth more to me from a nostalgic point of view.

Image 3 - looks like a Tandberg (or rebadged Tandberg) QIC drive .

Thanks guys. I actually ended up getting all of the older ones, up to Pentium 1, including the maxi towers.
Guess I'm the one with the storage room full of vintage computers, now 😀
This must be the biggest collection in Oslo, Norway! I can't keep all and will sell most.
