Hi my follow lovers of vogon poetry,

after years being busy with intergalactic highways, yesterday evening I finally found time to try out DOSBox a little bit more then just playing GOG games.
I already installed Windows 3.1 and it works great! Better and faster then VirtualBox or VMWare!

Next step for me was to do a real MS-DOS 6.22 installation. It worked. I used 2 GB image, and WOW a real fast MS-DOS.

But I would like to also mount a folder from my host desktop to my DOSBox as in the same time use the image.
Is there a way/hack to do that? So c: should be the image and d: the folder.
As soon as i boot up the DOS image drive D (The folder) gets lost.

Hope you got some hints for me!

Olli

No, folder mounts are only supported with DOSBox's internal DOS (not real DOS).

🙁
I thought that. But it would be awesome to have MS-DOS and access to the host filesystem at the same time.

Just run 4DOS in dosbox, you get a lot of flexability + compatability that way.
