Nope.

Dependency problems compiling Apache 2.0.43, and without direct access to the server we're pretty much sunk on that front, which both sucks and blows simultaneously. So we're just gonna get another server with an Ensim frontend on it and hope for the best. At some point I'll see about getting an IRC daemon running, but it might just be easier (and less expensive) to use EV1.NET's IRC server.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Don't see much reason to start an actual irc server for it, just run a channel on efnet or freenode.net or something.

EFNet? You've gotta be kidding me.
That's why I suggested EV1, but I don't know... I'd want to be an IRCop, which I'm not, so I couldn't kline people if they were really obnoxious or prevent other channels from being created, etc...

Yes, it’s my fault.

T'ch -- mIRC 6 supports more than one connection -- you know that, right? Also, there is pretty much no traffic from the network itself.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Watch it, man... #retrogamers, #psemu, and (formerly) #mamedev are all on EFNet. *tbbbth*

Big clunky networks aren't good for modest sites like this. Really. They're a pain in the arse to connect to much of the time... especially since, wasn't EFNet supposed to be shut down?

Yes, it’s my fault.

EFNet shutdown ?!?
Hold yer horses, did I miss something ?
Even though it's been a while since I was on EFNet I never ever heard anything about closing one of the bigger networks down.

There was *some* big network that was shutting down. I thought it was EFNet. But then again, there are a lot of networks out there...

Yes, it’s my fault.

DALNet was acquired by AOL.

Go to slashdot, search older stuff for "DALNet", and then also search for "EFNet", that'll catch you up.

They can't kill DALnet just yet, that's the only place I can find Farscape stuff on 😒

Not happening. I need somewhere around $1,000 for DVDs myself (stupid expensive anime!).
