Well, one main issue anyway. The speaker out jack is getting very loose, and to get sound to work I have to move my speaker wire around and then wrap it on something. So, my question is basically, can I somehow use the mic or line in jacks in place of the speaker out? I know this is probably stupid, I'm just hoping there's a jumper setting or something I'm not aware of.
Alternatively, I have a Vibra 16 CT2260, I'm just not sure how much I'll love the sound in comparison. I also have an Opti card of some kind which I believe is also a 16 clone. Chip says "Opti 82C931 119703 11CW", on the board itself there's a random "2097" and there's "1547000020 REV:B" and an FCC ID: E5X1817. I haven't looked up the opti card yet as I'm unsure it's worth a darn.
At any rate. Short of replacing the SBPro entirely or resoldering the speaker output (I'm not even thinking the solder is a problem, might be the pins themselves) and also considering the age of the card and that it hasn't been used in god knows how many years until very recently, it's dirty and I'm sure the jacks are dirty internally, enormous run on sentence, is either of those cards a decent substitute?
Whew. Okay. Thank you for your time.
