My CT2230 has arrived, and I've been going over the PCB looking at the jumpers in case anything is set to anything unusual.

There is a 2 pin PC Speaker jumper on the board. I was expecting a connector not a jumper, but I wonder if it's still a connector.

The three things I can think of it doing are...

1) A jumper to tell the SB16 to take over PC speaker function

2)A connection to the PC speaker to have some kind of output to it

3) A connection from the motherboard that would normally be connected to a PC speaker

My guess is 3 but I'm sure someone knows for sure!

It's an input like the CD analog input.. It allows you to run a cable from the PC speaker output of the motherboard to the soundcard. If you look at the mixer settings in the software, you should be able to find a slider for this channel.
