Does anyone know if these IDE ports are proprietary?

I have a Aztech I-MMSN830 and it has 3 connectors for the old proprietary CD ROM cables. And one simply just labeled "IDE".

When I went to install drivers from here (Re: Need Help Configuring Aztech Sound Card)though it asked me if I wanted to setup a CD ROM but only listed the IDE ask working with two specific Aztech drives.

Anyone know more about this? I thought from the "IDE" print on the card it would work with any generic IDE by this point. I don't wanna bust my CD drive by having it send the wrong stuff if it is some weird proprietary Aztech ide.

Which specific drives? This weekend I found an old bAT case full of interesting stuff including an Aztech CDRom drive. That drive was just hooked up to a regular motherboard (Via VPX) IDE controller. I never heard of non-standard IDE drives from Aztech, this sounds more like someone not wanting to support other weird non-standard IDE stuff so playing it safe and only mentioning the drives known to work.
