Ok i admit i haven't read everything possible but i do beleive i've seen enough to ask this question.
Well there is a program id like to run which is a patch that only needs to run once because its an update. In order to run i only have to click it and it should update however it simply won't run. I always get this message:
16-bit MS-DOS Subsystem
path to the program that you are trying to start or install
config.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
and then it gives me the option to ignore or close but either way it closes.
So ive read the intrucions the makers of dosbox have provided but i just keep seeing things telling me how to make virutal drives and how to get old games running but this is not an old game. Its just a little program thing so how should i be taking these instructions that tell me to create a folder for a game and such when its just a patch for a new school kinda game that has to be in specific folder since it a patch, so i dont see how to take that information and the information about mounting it because as far as i know i dont need to play an old game and i dont need to mount anything, i just need to get a patch thats already on my computer to start working.
-----thank you very much for any help
