I cannot tell if it is just my imagination, but it seems as though the faster the computer, the more likely I am to win at MS Solitaire.

Using Solitaire on my 486 I can play for hours and never win a game (I am not that good of a player).

But faster machines always seem to increase my odds, strangely. I have not measured this at all but it just seems like every time I play on something faster, I win more quickly.

Today I installed Windows 3.1 and Windows 98 on a Core 2 Duo machine, just for kicks. I played Solitaire on both OS's and won both almost immediately, a rare event.

Is it just my imagination? Or is there really something to this?

It is speed-sensitive (the animations go faster on faster machines), but personally I never noticed any difference in win rates.
