Work is done. New flooring, cabinets and dragged everything into my cave.
Well, everything up to Pentium 3... Newer stuff (mostly p4 and core2) is at a storage unit.
Hereby I humbly request your permission to brag a little.
Stuck at 10MHz...
neat :3
That looks like the storage unit to me.

Looking good! I see you suffer from the constant lack of space just like I do. I keep upgrading with more shelves but fill them up under a month.
I don't want to let go of anything!
That is a very nice setup. The shelves are really nice looking and I love your choice of flooring. Your room looks excellent
Thnx everyone!

Not really a lack of space, got a storage unit near here. This is just the stack of stuff I like most :p
It's more a lack of time... But my wife, son and employer all want to have their share of my time as well :p

Well.. not quite... In my storage unit I stacked the computers three high on top of eachother in one corner and have the loose stuff in a few creates next to them... Also three high stacked.
This is the neat room 😁

I consider that a lack of space, it's irritating when you want to find a specific part and it takes an hour just to get to the box that contains it.
My boards are mostly stored in huge boxes so it's a pain sometimes but I don't have the space to store them separately.

That is true. Luckily I have sorted my parts well, and basically everything Pentium 4 and newer is stored 15 minutes driving away. That's not too interesting stuff now, as I'm more into XT to Pentium 2 at the moment. That stuff is at home 😀

I hope this is ok for a first post!
I will dive deeper into more pics of way more gear, especially more DOS/Win95 gaming stuff I have. Don't want to overload the server so I will post the rest with tiny pic of something.
Long time lurker (years!) It's great to finally have the courage to say hi to all of you.
Jess
PS I have way more photos and videos of the SUN and Gateway stuff I have stored in another closet. Is there an image hosting site you'd recommend where I can host the whole album??
Should I post the stuff in my non-working are in the Marvin section?
Again, sorry if I broke any rules!
Wow you have a very nice collection there!!!
Hiya
One of my computing area i finished few weeks ago.
And its been my main rig since! 😀
Lenovo Yoga 2 Tab, win8.1, 1920*1200 touchscreen, 5Ghz Wifi
4core Atom Z3745
2Gb ram
Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
THEC64 joystick
A bit underpowered processors.
Ie. cannot run newest WinUAE or WinVice, but older WinUAE 2.3.2 and Winvice 2.4 works smoothly.
And when i need more power, i can take remote connection to my Xeon setup at the basement, with NoMachine, ie. Civilization VI.

that's so neatly packed up ^^
you can just make multiple posts if you want to post more images I guess, external images are just always a hassle imo.

Epic first post! Welcome.
Great storage of your stuff there - wrapping in plastic is a lot of work but I'm an anti-dust campaigner so find myself doing this too 👍
Life? Don't talk to me about life.
Is that a shelf of SGIs?

Feeling inspired tonight so thought it’s time to finally contribute to this thread and help keep it going. I’ve really enjoyed this thread in particular and am really grateful for this community. Here’s my refuge, no doubt inspired by countless posts on Vogons.
- Socket 8 Pentium II Overdrive, all SCSI, resound opl3, MPU-401 and my original voodoo2 in olive drab tower
- 486 DX2, all SCSI, Cirrus Logic VLB, Yamaha SB clone, Adlib clone
KVM switch for these two with a Model M and period correct Trackball.- Modern PC: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, RX570, Windows 7 and Linux Dual boot
Roland Super UA, UNICOMP AS/400 layout keyboard, trackball.SC-55mkII, MT-32 revA, 2x Roland D50s all fed into ART mixer
Roland SRA-50 amplifier to big DCM speakers on top of bookshelves off camera.- Macintosh (bought non working, did not modify case at all, just used hot glue gun)
MiSTer FPGA, ipad2 screen (fits perfectly) Chinese aftermarket controller board
this gives pretty good results for consoles and Atari/Amiga
Messy, but comfy
