Gex 2 is glide or d3d+glide.
IIRC the EU version (Ubi-Soft) is glide only.
The US version (Eidos) is d3d only. And there is the glide patch for this version.

Fairly certain Dreams to Reality only runs on the original Voodoo (and perhaps Voodoo Rush). Even Voodoo2 can't run it apparently.

if a game runs in higher resolutions with dgvoodoo2 then it is using d3d 5 or more

It's not true.
Lands of lore 2 win95 version use only directx3.0a (only dos version use glide) and you can run in higher version with dgvoodoo2.

if you want you can post a screenshot when looking at the pool

but when you look at the pool you notice the uneven blocky line of the edge of the pool

I have just tried this afternoon and force higer resolution works with lands of lore 2 win 95 dx3.0a version.

If the pool is in 2D, it's normal.
Force resolution doesn't change 2d elements like sprite. It's change only 3d elements.
LoL 2 have lot's of 2d elements.

Lands of Lore II's Direct3D render has a lot of issues btw, the DOS Glide render is a lot better if you want to play the game. It isn't fun to get that working on modern systems though, especially not if you want resolution forcing.

Resolution forcing definitely works for the Direct3D version, but it causes glitches with some graphical effects.

ok, it looks games using direct3d from directx 2 or 3 cannot be really counted as using direct3d.

we have to wipe out all d3d 2 and 3 only games from the list

unlocking the thread

Some games get to a higher resooution, like Moto Racer and Daytona USA, using dgVoodoo. They are dx2 and dx3 games. Do they qualify for this?

This list is in the top, how to do that. I also want to keep my list of dx8.1 and older games running on win10 list on top like this
