Hello guys. I'm suffering from not properly working driver. The only driver works with this laptop is Mobility M (Sony), which is apparently (Microsoft) in properties. I almost accept it if... It will restart the system properly and do the thing after second boot. First boot, right after driver is installed, widescreen! 1024x480, but after that I can't log off, restart or shutdown computer properly... It is just not working. Hard reset, reset the resolution and it never come 1024x480 again 🙁
All the drivers I tried form the internet shows me either standard resolution from 640x480 to 1280x1024 or stuck at 640x480
Little story behind: I remember driver was good when it was XP on it, until I tried and installed Windows 2000 and suddenly FM sound disappeared from DX1x built in. I tried different thing, but 2000 offered me only software wavetable option.... So I decided, well, I need FM synth, cause I use this laptop for Midi In/Out, let's come back to XP. And after, sad story above... Never get to normal 🙁
