I'm currenlty using DOSBox 0.65 patched over with ykhwong's DOSBox CVS and trying to get my SmartJoy Plus USB Adapter (PS2 controller connected to it) to work. Using ykhwong's cvs since I need vesa drivers to run my Mugen games, the games are joystick compatible. I assume that I have to configure DOSBox since I'm running them through it to get joystick support, remember slightly that when I was running just DOSBox 0.65 there was a second dos window in the back that said joystick confirmed. So I guess then it did recognized it I guess.
Do I need to revert some files back or reconfigure DOSBox to get my joystick to work or what???

DOSBox 0.65 official ver. also supports vesa and joystick. Using USB joystick is strongly recommended for dosbox.

ok got joystick working by reverting back to DOSBox 0.65 but for some reason it only recognizes my depad (analog when I switch to it) and 2 buttons when inside my Mugen game. But in the second Dos window that opens when I start DOSBox it says it recognizes my 4 axes 12 button joystick. I'm really stuck up a tree without a padel here???
