Atomic Bomberman and War Wind are 2D games. dgVoodoo allows you to change the scaling algorithm, but it doesn't add any detail to the image like it can with 3D rendered games.
HyperBlade will get to a higher resolution in a match and while in menu, you may have to switch to windowed mode because you may get black screen.

Peixoto's patches can force resolution in HyperBlade without menu issues. Last time I checked anyway.
