That's a good price for a cool find, especially if it is in good condition.
Got this Office 95 standard floppy set for $3 in average condition.
It must have been fun when one of them malfunctioned during install (#29 for example).

Photos show it still in shrink wrap, however the box has a bit of crushing here and there, from what I see in the seller photos. Overall not too bad though.

This took forever to arrive, but it finally did. Everything coming out of the U.S. has been super slow to arrive for me (still waiting on a couple things since May), but anything coming from any other part of the world seems to still arrive within a reasonable amount of time. Meh. Oh well.
I wanted 4.x as it still supports Windows 3.1. Though unfortunately this copy does not include the 4.0.1 update which fixes issues running on machines with more than 1GB of RAM, but that's not the end of the world really. Still can apply that update separately.
I have very fond memories of photoshop 4.x too
Today I bought SimCity 3000 and Sim City 4 Deluxe on GOG.com for 6.28 Euro total.

Me as well. One of my first jobs as a software developer was for a small company that made "catalogs on diskette", think of them as a websites on a floppy disk. This was early '90. The project was for a company that made and sold fuses for use in electronics. I had scan hundreds of images from their paper catalog, cropped, resized, patch up and converted to a 5 color gray scale image (other 10 colors where used for other things like UI and graphs). And, I had to do all the programming of course. Anyhow, I think this was with Photoshop 3 on Windows 3.11. If I'm not mistaken, Photoshop 4 was Windows 95 era and Photoshop 5 (my favorite release which I still use 'til this day on my Windows 2000 build, was around Windows 98).
Yes, fond memories...
I had the floppy disk version as a kid, the CDROM is much better!

Man, brings back memories. The things we accomplished with Win NT was amazing. ( 3.5.1 and 4.0 ).
From setting up nation wide and world wide networks. Setting up clusters with Wolfpack , servers, Remotely pushing out images for new group installs of workstations. Network monitoring, etc...it’s the OS that saved Microsoft from Novell and UNIX computers.
But UNIX computers where more stable and reliable and easier to manage.
But it was fun to put the Windows NT computers up against the UNIX computers.
Which we often did in the computer education center I was enrolled in.
Those Windows NT computers where network hogs often bogging down the network.

Latest software arrivals:
Been hunting a boxed copy for a while...the box has seen better times but the floppies are still shrinkwrapped.
A used bundle of Amiga Workbench 2.1 finally turned up. I'm going to install WB 2.1 on one of my Amiga A600s once I've installed a hdd in to it. Should be fun. WB 2.1 has CrossDos which allows you to access fat12 formatted 720k floppies. My current WB 2.05 doesn't have CrossDos included. I eventual get the Amiga Forever updated WB 2.1 disks. I believe WB 3 is basicly WB 2.1 with a prettier face.
There's a glitch in the matrix.

Apparently 32-bit is dead and nobody likes P4s.
Of course, as always, I'm open to correction...😉
I didn't get any old software recently but I like the concept of this thread.
Another Linux distro, for Pentium and PowerPC G3 (NewWorld only)/G4 Macs.
sealed Dell disks for dos 6.2 and windows 3.1. Already have Dell windows 3.1 so very happy to have dos too. To go with my dell 486.
Photoshop floppies are also sealed
That's a great find and still sealed in the bags. You should image all the disks so you can have a digital copy since all floppy disks will eventually succumb to the march of time.

Ah but that leaves the question - To unseal or not!
To preserve the history and the data id personally open them to me that's more important. If you open them carefully you can put the disks back in the bags.
Today I received my retail copy of Prey (2006) from the UK. If we are talking about preservation, whenever I get an older retail game, especially if it's something that used to be in online stores, but got removed I always try to redeem to product key.
With this one I had luck on Steam, so now I have a Steam copy for my daily driver and a disc for my retro rigs. Do anyone know if it was ever sold on GoG?
