one of them recently and one of them in a PC a while back.
SPEA Graphiti FGA 1/HE TIGA+VGA card
and a very nice Matrox MGA Ultima Plus 200 VLB with 4MB VRAM and 200Mhz ramdac
Found this compaq presario p2 333 mmx the other day.
Will be neat to play around with.
Found a new compaq presario p2 the other day. Nicer than the compaq deskpro i found prior https://imgur.com/gallery/LmU8WX7
That Matrox card makes me MOIST.
I desire one.
It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Heh... There is a NIB 2MB on on eBay for the low low price of $299.99 OBO.
Just search for matrox ultima
Did a bit of digging and these cards are supposed to be horrid in DOS performance-wise.
well, they definitely weren't made for gaming ^^
but hey, it does 1600x1200 on VLB 😁

I know on the very early Matrox Ultima Plus PCI video card it had dip switches you could set so it would hand off DOS based graphics to a secondary graphics card. I posted about it here. I haven't actually tested the feature yet.
well there are a bunch of dip-switches on the back of the card, the PC it came in actually had another ISA videocard in it, but it wouldn't boot with that one installed, just gave "VGA error" beeps (long-short-short), the matrox alone worked fine though, which seems to make sense, as the dip-switches seem to be set to primary vga according to this thread: http://www.murc.ws/showthread.php?22578-I-nee … rox-ultima-card
but interestingly the PC also wouldn't boot with just the ISA card installed, just no beep at all.
What a VLB card! You will have to make something using a period correct CAD program to show it off. I like the original cost too, $999 🤣
Dat SPEA Graphiti FGA 1/HE TIGA+VGA card 😁
Do you have the original disks that came with it ?
I found one in the wild a year ago, but couldn't get it to work. Drivers are very hard to come by for these 🙁

Nice cards Imi! Would also like to see the SPEA running 😉
Just won this, I was the only bidder. Good physical condition with less than average yellowing. Seller reports that it just shows a white screen when they hook up a VCR to it. We'll see if it can be fixed, or if the VCR button on the back is just broke, or if they just didn't know what they were doing. Seller has 0 feedback, maybe I won't even get it at all. 🤣

unfortunately not, but I assume the drivers for the 34010 and 34020 are the same?

will definitely try with the drivers you linked ^^
Bit the bullet and finally got me one of these beauties:
Sellers pics didn't even come close to showing the condition its in.
Not a speck of dust or fingerprint on it!
The only thing dating it is that one of the stickers on the back is slightly yellowed.
All the stickers look like they have never been touched after it was manufactured.
Also included was the coax digital out, which wasn't on sellers pics.

That's a really pretty card. Seriously nice find
wrote:Curious, what part we talking about? I've seen some computer parts marked as another posted mentioned for car parts. I think it is kind of tricky selling used computer items on eBay because damage done by the user is not usually visible. For insurance claims, it is also not visible damage. Due in part to such complications, I haven't bothered selling on eBay in 15 years, and probably never will again. If I perish, I told my wife to send my computer landfill site to CPUshack and sell it via consignment, with proceeds going to kid's education.

Got one of those myself as a Christmas present back in 2019 CIB for $50 at a local computer thrift store/recycling center. Now that was a bargain. Also, that card is in fantastic shape and I'm glad it has the coax S/PDIF jack to go along with it.

I managed to pick myself up a Matrox Millennium, specifically one of the 4MB versions. It's in remarkably good condition for a $5 purchase.
Finally got a XT IDE Bios chip, configured for a 286 from eBay today
Plugged it into a Realtek Ethernet that I pulled outa some random Compaq Pentium MMX anndd....no dice. Both 286 boards I have don't seem to wanna mess with it. Ethernet card light blinks for a second and... nothing.
Probably shoulda just got a pre built XT IDE card 😒
