I was born in mid 1970s, so my exposure to 70s music was fairly limited. But 70s disco was my most favorite genre during early childhood. And in my country, disco continued to be popular until early 80s. It was also the time when we had our first Sony Betamax player, and this is one of my favorite disco songs.

Put it this way, perhaps it's not a coincidence that I was born in the same year as the infamous Disco Demolition Night. 😉
On the other hand, the occasional Italo/"space" disco can be pretty good, although I suppose it's really a different genre of music:

Hey now, there's nothing wrong with a little bit of disco either, every now and then. 😉 https://open.spotify.com/track/3GXo1eWlT2flv4 … RSSKSf61yFlEyNw

Just some football team chants, most notably my favorite team chants.

I believe it is what was called 'techno pop' back then. As for Italo disco, this is what I really liked at that time.

Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

I am currently listening to the Montreal Symphony Orchestra rendition of Harmonium's music that was recently recorded and freshly issued. Harmonium is, arguably, Quebec's gift to prog rock . They are likely largely unknown outside of Canada, but IMHO, are worth a listen wherever you may be . Again, IMHO, it is probably best to start with original recordings rather than the symphonic re-orchestration .

I need to listen to more music again. I haven’t been doing that lately. Work stuff.

Anyway. “Good Life”, One Republic tonight.

Prince - Gold on JBL L20Ts driven by Sansui AU-7900. Such an awesome song, both lyrically and musically.

Everybody wants to sell what's already been sold
Everybody wants to tell what's already been told
What's the use of money
If you ain't gonna break the mold
Even at the center of the fire, there is cold
And all that glitters ain't gold
And all that glitters ain't gold

Well.... There IS music at the end. However... It is a English lesson video for Japan.
It reminds me of an old Microsoft add for Dos 5 or something like that.

This reminded me of Donna Summer's I Feel Love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHfrdQ8h2Pw
I've seen I Feel Love categorized as Disco music, but I think it should be categorized as experimental?
