that's some nice stuff :3

I bought one of my dream computers today... finally after years, will have to wait a bit for it to show up though probably and I hope it won't need too many repairs, if any, cause parts ain't easy to come by on this part of the globe ^^

Well, I mentioned in another thread that I had easy access to a 233MHz Pentium MMX. And that proved to be true, as I picked it up locally for $10. I just need to get a damn motherboard and cooler that will work with this and one for my Ceramic 100/166MMX

I bought two AMD K6-2+ 350mhz 1.5v CPUs

I guessed that they can probably handle 2.0v as the other K6-2+'s and the 1.5v is just for low wattage mobile? so quite good for oc maybe 😀 Can someone confirm before i blow one x) I have a ss7 board that goes down to 1.8v the rest to 2.0v

Thanks for posting this, I appreciate the link before the mods removed it. I ordered two of these, they just arrived today. My SS7 boards only go down to 2.0V.

Since these are the same core as all the other + chips I plan to and expect they’ll run fine at 2.0V at 600MHz.

Mine are dated 20 week 2003 so almost 2 years newer than my other + chips. Maybe they’ll let me reach 660MHz (6x110)? I know the board can handle that FSB.

Super nice - that ISA / VLB era Paradise chipset is fantastic in my experience. Great image quality and compatibility and nice drivers - speed is also OK, some fiddling with jumpers has made a difference for me.

Life? Don't talk to me about life.

Great haul! I've restored a PC30-III not that long ago and the HDD wouldn't spin up (WD93028-A). I gave it a good shake and that seems to have done the trick 😆

I made an estate sale purchase over the weekend of a P2B-DS fitted with dual P3-800's. Imagine my surprise after it posted up with no issues. After a night of wondering which case I should put it in, I settled on my old Lian-Li PC-65. It is still a work in progress as I need to install drives, fan extension cables, and the OS. Here's a photo of it on my lunch break.

I am considering a dual boot of 98se and 2000. Maybe some linux flavor.

Great, I love those dual Pentium III builds, especially when they come in a nice case like this one! 😄

I got me one of these:

TL866-II-Pro.jpg

I have been in this hobby for a couple of years now and the times I needed one for troubleshooting or repairs so far justified it.

An oscilloscope is probably next.

tpos(I will then probably get thrown out of the house by my wife)

Once I got exactly the same thing, I found that I actually needed more than one type of writer to properly repurpose/repair/refresh various shapes of roms.

Welcome to the nerd cave.

nice!
consider getting a Furia 020 accelerator for that A600 - it will make it a very capable whdload system

Good catch, it'll work with most of the common chips anyways ... at least I didn't have any problems with any system in the range of an original XT up to P55C systems, yet.

... and yes, still looking for an oscilloscope or a digital analyzer, too.

Just received in the mail a sad Schneider EuroPc II. This must be a fetish of mine, my eyes only see pain, but yet in some way this machines are appealing to me. Anyway it is my first "II" variant of the EuroPc.

Both the PC10C and PC30-III HDD spins up, just does scratching noises... like all of them I had before... well, I will replace them with Seagates. Fortunatelly I have some XTA spare for PC10.

It doesn't seem like the regular AWE64 drivers work with this card.
