Hi folks,

I hope I've put this in the right place.

On the recommendation of a Vogons member I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4300 laptop for Windows 98SE/DOS system. It's been fantastic in terms of compatibility and performance is solid even for late Windows 98 stuff. Unfortunately I've got a weird problem with USB Joysticks/gamepads. I used the excellent nusb drivers, and my joypads all seem to install fine, and function. The problem is that, whichever device I use, the controller will "stall" for a period of about 2 seconds every minute or so and I lose control. It then comes back to life a few seconds later. This is causing me grief as my X wing suddenly plunges into a Correllian corvette half way through an Alliance mission for example.

I've tried enabling USB legacy support in the bios to no avail. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced anything similar?

Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Sam
