I've just want to know if mobile Athlons, like the AHM1000AVS3B can run on my GA-7IXE4 board, or they need newer Socket A motherboards to work?
I've tested it and no post. Works without issues with Duron 750 and Athlon 650 I've already tested.

I've tested a AMD Mobile Athlon 4 1600+ on my board and it posted but the Multi was wrong and there is no way in the bios to set a different multi so just left it.
Looking at https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-7IXE4 … ort#support-cpu I suspect the multiplier is correct, but the FSB is 200 rather than 266 MHz.
Which OS is installed? If it's XP I would be interested to know if my SIV utility reports the W83782D SIO chip sensors. It does on my 7IXE but I have not checked a 7IXE4.
