Here are the textures for Roman-Greeks levels all in one. It's size some 34MB. I have rearranged them a little but still some textures are missing. I can named this the beta version. Here are the next levels: Title, Lara home, St Francis Folly, Palace Midas, The Cistern and Tomb of Tihocan. Well I just haven't time to work on this as much as I would. Think that you have most of these textures except Palace Midas and some that has been changed. Well, happy raiding!!! 😀

Really nice textures, I like them very much even in their beta stage 😀
The only thing I dislike is main screen - Lara's face. Why don't you just use one of hundreds Lara's pictures? Are they copyrighted?

Looking really good -- you have a lot of good dirt and detail without it looking too noisy. I need to investigate your techniques a bit myself.... 😀

I noticed that your PNGs are unoptimized and some of them are 32-bit when they don't need to be. I ran PNGCrush on the entire folder set and decreased it's size by over 5MB!

I'm gonna start a thread about optimization of texture packs.

At the start of Tomb of Tihocan, is it right that the texture for the drains is missing? Maybe the pack got corrupted during download. I don't think its a version problem., cos I think you have the same version as me.

Brilliant! Really enjoying Tomb of Tihocan. I'd forgotten what a marvelous level it is.

And I keep finding myself amazed by the realism of the water.

I've noticed that the game crashes much more regularly with these new texture packs, both from JC and Anton -- mainly when going into a cutscene or finishing a level and starting the next one. Just bombs out to Windows with no errors.

Especially frustrating in Anton's version of Tihocan 'cos I wanted to see the new heiroglyphs at the end -- you can only just see them in the level itself.

What crashes, TR or Glidos?

And what set up do you have for Music? Are you using SAPUCDEX? Are you using the Audio packs? Do you have Redbook turned off?

Only problem that I have is read error that appears sometimes just after level statistic and before loading of the next level.

guys, how i put these textures into the levels?
i managed to put gambits and JC's in easily, but this requires a different technique...

That file has a hard-coded path in the mapping file that may not match your setup.

Is your Glidos in the default location of C:\Program Files\Glidos\?

If yes, did you install the pack into C:\Program Files\Glidos\Textures\Antonijadis\?

If yes to both these, then the pack should work.

If no to either, then you need to find the MAPPING.TXT file in the Antonijadis folder and edit this line at the top:

ROOT: C:\Program Files\Glidos\Textures\Antonijadis\

to:

ROOT: .\

Note that this change has already been made to the pack that will appear on the new TRX site.
