I've been trying to run some games on my iBook, and they simply do not perform well. I think it's because of some of the settings in the CFG file. I've tried changing them but nothing happens? How can I change the way the graphics are rendered and what not? I've also increases CPU cycles, which doesn't seem to improve anything.

Not to be a smart ass, but you can read the README to see these options. You may also want to consider using a front end. There are a couple linked to for OSX on the DOSBox homepage.

I did read the readme, but it seems to be the exact same as the PC version...
I mean I have the program running great on my PC, so I do know how to operate DosBox. But what exactly is a frontend?

iBook. That's a PPC-platform isn't it?

Normal core is the only available core on the PPC-platform, and the PPC is not doing a very fine job with dosbox, to be blunt.
You can improve performance slightly by compiling your own version.

Also, if you compile it yourself you can enable OpenGL.

core full exists as well.
think it does a better job then normal on ppc

I'm still confused on how to edit the config file on a MAC. The Readme didn't help. There is no other DosBox folder on my hard drive...

I like to keep things simple, so..... Do you have a config file?
