I just got the King's Quest Collection and I don't know how to get it working .I tried to play the games but all that happens is a window with a black screen opens for a second and then closes automaticly.

Actually to further add to the confusion, the newer compilations actually say "King's Quest Collection" right on the box. So the question becomes: is this the old collection or the newly released one?
if it is the new one. Did you try contacting Sierra/VUgames about it ?
If it is the old one. Which DOSbox version are you using.

New collection Dosbox version 0.63 Yes I checked the sierra website
First of all please install dosbox 0.65 (dosbox homepage)
you are probably suffering from this DOSBox: neither rendering works using ATi Rage graphics
The fix described there isn't needed if you install 0.65
You should really contact Sierra about this. Afterall it is their compilation.
