Well, me myself being interested in getting DOS PM VBE 2.0 (LFB) software to work in an nt/2k/xp environment i tried alot already i.e. vga.sys replacement, solvbe, dosbox, direct/total io, sdd+univbe,..., since nothing seemed to work for me the way i want it, i kept on looking and found this: porttalk, it was quite hard to find so it doesn't seem to be a common solution and i thought i tell you guys. I don't have a useful amount of test programs with me at the moment, but what i did test was that little ****er of my linker coming with the dos32 package called DLINK; it never worked reliably, now it does. I hope you didn't know that piece of code yet and you can test some vesa vbe 2.0 svga progs with it and post your experience with porttalk.

thanks ahead and happy testing

Quite dangerous, the DOS app can bring down your whole system with porttalk.

It works fine in my parallel port passthrough patch.
