kinda like the araris cougar i bought once, labled as an AOPEN mother board and concealed in bubble wrap. Had to download the picture and enlarge it by 500% and it was unmistakably worth a whole lot more than 40 dollars.

still finding under priced rare and nice stuff is a bit of a game of luck, it usually doesn't last long before someone buys it now and its gone within minutes of a posting.

Found a nice Roland SD-80 synth for the nice price of 100€. The usb port, and multiple midi out makes it perfect to use it along with DosBox.

Also arrived in the mail 4 NOS "586"coolers, mainly for my early pentium's.

Ordered today this batch of various cards, Video TV Audio LAN, one ISA SB, one Hauppauge Win-TV ...
The PCI-E video card should be interesting, it's an ASUS C40HREV 1.03, I think it's a 256MB GF maybe but I don't know what version.
As soon as they arrive I will start testing them, I hope they all work.

I'd be more hyped about the AGP card. It looks like a Matrox G400 which is not particularly extraordinary, but always nice to mess around with something that isn't and nvidia or ATI card.
The PCI-E is looks identical to this 8500GT, so it's probably either that or an 8600.
The rest, 2 Ensoniq AudioPCI/SB 128PCI, an SB! Live (SB0060 maybe?), a Vibra16 CT4170. Some networking cards however always nice to have.

I think you get there by clicking the tiny arrow by "customize" (in the box where it says 64bit) then clicking the computer with the letter "i".
It should give some rough information about the memory BUS, and maybe clock speeds, though I've gotten some pretty wrong info about clock speeds from Rivatuner on TNT cards lately, so I wouldn't pay much attention to that part.

Also, Everest Home Edition (I use 2.01) would give you a good second opinion.

Anyway, it's still a great PCI card for older games. Should trade blows with an original TNT, which was also no slouch for 1997-1998 games.

Yeah, I did a second check with Everest and it's a 100% 64-bit card. Can't complain due the price tag hahaha. And it's looking amazing on my setup.

Yes, the 1980s were chalk full of telecoms trying to get their piece of the personal computer pie. I imaged and scanned most of the materials for the ITT Xtra systems over at -0° and if you download the "later set" you will also find a scanned copy of the ITT Xtra Quick Reference card. Not sure if your later ITT Xtra system model has it, but on the earlier models if you press CTRL-ALT-ESC it will take you to its built-in diag system. CTRL-ALT-\ should toggle turbo and non-turbo modes. You can find the rest of the special function and control keys on that quick reference card.

define "best"
all the small ones are pretty nice for early 90s games and don't take up much room on the desk or can fit in your hand to play.

handling wise I actually like the Mach II without the button on the stick, I think I'm still missing a Mach I non plus that's also like that but with the nicer gimbal imho.

Nice, I got one of those myself, it's a great little machine. Mine has only a Celeron in it, and the Keyboard has been partially ruined by the previous owner who "disassembled" it by basically ripping it off and then glued it back in place... *facepalm*
Apart from that, it is in good shape and has all the accessories, too. But the keyboard is a flimsy piece of junk, even if the guy hadn't destroyed it, it's just not good to type on at all.

The only reference to any 3D acceleration capabilities of that card I could find is this article (from a Brazilian website), that says that the 3D rendering was entirely done in software mode at 320 x 240 and then the card would upscale that to 640 x 480 to make it look like it was 3D accelerated. So, no actual 3D acceleration, but maybe the driver would intercept Direct3D calls and do this upscaling procedure or something. Maybe you can give it a try and confirm if this is the case or not.

Judging by the number of ram chips that is a TNT2 M64. Nice find!
