I hate marketing / PR and how lying is the default for any large company communicating with their customers.

THIS. +1, me too

DLSS didn't really become meaningful until late 2019 (DLSS 2.0). So there been a year at most of meaningful DLSS pushing, and most of it at reduced productivity because of COVID. Turing cards were also very poorly received.

It's 2021. February, to be exact (please don't quote this and try to be pedantic, silly or antagonizing - it really IS 2021 and it really IS February).

DLSS 2.0 is till not meaningful, or being pushed. It's been over two - and a half - years. The generation of GPU's that brought the gimmick are now obsolete, replaced. Still less than 10 meaningful implementations of the gimmick. Even LESS implementations of the DLSS gimmick as there are implementations of the RTX gimmick.

Forgive my way of explaining things the long way around. It's so people like you don't get confused because ... well it's complicated.

2.5 years .... less than 10.

Closer to 5 actually.

2.5 years.

Complicated.

COVID is still a thing, DLSS will probably be a great feature when things start moving again. I have not made any claims about when, so your fixation about dates when replying to me doesn't make any sense.

You didn't seem capable of following my post, so you shouldn't talk down to me.
