99p is an adequate price for this 😀 Some people are converting these to benches or furniture.

Nice "job" on the bench.
Came across a DX4 WB after a pretty long time for a good price.

That apple Mac Pro bench is great! haha Probably the best use for them 😀

The bench needs one of those Trash can mac pros next to it as an ashtray.

I bought this Dell Dimension 4100 last week. Inside I found:

  • Pentium III EB 1000
  • Intel i815E chipset
  • 512 MB RAM (PC133)
  • GeForce 2 MX 32 MB
  • Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

I really like it.

I have two of these Geforce2Mx's(PCI) and have always been wondering why there's no heatsink.

I bought a Prolink branded GeForce 2 MX this week. MVGA-NVG11A, which most sellers everywhere wrongly list as an GeForce 2 MX400.

Bought this board as broken and, whoops, it's working. Only downside is I have to mod/desolder the rtc/battery.
Had the same generic board in my first PC that I got in 1995 - I have to admit I really dig it.
It will be interesting if the tweakbios utility is able to get some more performance out of it...

Purchased these today. All are missing brackets, which really stinks, but there's definitely some decent stuff here.

Best of the lot:
CT1350B Rev. 3 with an original CMS upgrade kit installed (notice the stickers)
Cirrus Logic GD510\520 8bit VGA\EGA card (Eagle II)

Not amazing, but worth grabbing:
Octek EG-3000 Gemini VC-001 EGA card
Two different OAK VGA+EGA cards
Trident ISA VGA (probably 8900D... I have another similar card with those big fat memory packages)
Diamond Stealth64 Video 2MB, with audio out
ISA Riser... because why not...
Some chips\CPUs... I believe one is a 486 SX25 (not sure), with intact pins. The others look like an AMD 286 10Mhz (possibly broken pins) and possibly the parts from the Headland chipset that ran it's motherboard.

Also decided to grab a couple of weird CDROM cards. One is for an external CDROM (something I might actually have), and one is an IDE interface card with a BIOS (hopefully bootable) and audio jacks on the back.

Now for some blitting from the back buffer.

Someone has taken down the heatsink, probably for other card. Another reason is, as in its time, it was famous for overclocking, they've put something bigger on it, that covered also memory. As geforce 2 MX most performance gain was through overclocking memory. Most of GF2MX gained 20-25% after overclocking in most favourites resolution in its time 1024x768x32.

Nice one!

Can't complain myself, got a box of very cheap crap today containing mainly uninteresting crap, but a working Voodoo 1 made it worthwhile.

Great haul! Be sure to post in my Eagle II thread if you happen to test your card and find anything worth mentioning 😀

yup, that's a new in box microsoft bus mouse including the ISA card, the box itself is a bit beat up, but the contents are pristine, the floppy folder is even still sealed :3
