Bought one of these duplicators today, but I'm going to strip out the drives and controller, then build a Greaseweazle F7 Plus into it with a 3.5" and 5.25" drive.

Just bought this ATI WinCharger 1MB 113-32100-105 (I think it's the first revision) for £8.20 shipped. Didn't expect to win it for the opening bid 😀 Seller's pic

Oh well, it woulda been nice. Seller just refunded me, saying he got it out of storage on Saturday (so how had he photographed it?) and has since lost it 🙁

I'm now bidding on a later revision. Bit more expensive, but hey ho.

Won the later version for just over a tenner shipped. New collecting goal is to get the full Mach8 to Mach64 reference card set. And sort my collection to see which I already have 😀

Original seller found the card, and sold it to me for a lower price, so when they arrive I think I have the first and last revisions of the WinCharger, both at prices I consider reasonable for a late 486 or early Pentium build (less than £20 for the pair). Probably won't use them beyond testing, as I have hundreds of cards to choose from, but from a collecting viewpoint I'm very happy.

I legitimately love that box design. It's so of-era.

Looking at it through the eyes of an adult, that box art looks so amateurishly cheap and tacky and yet makes me feel warm and fuzzy . In comparison, the yellow and blue design language of later Sound Blaster Pro cards (that made it, in part, at least into the Live! era) seemed oh so slick and polished and still would not look too out of date today. It is ironic to think that there were likely Sound Blaster clone cards on the market at the same as the original Sound Blaster box release that had more professional looking box art .

Got one that came with the drivers and manuals for a Sound Blaster Pro, except my card is equipped with the CMS upgrade (600% or 6x the price of your card). Works in my 8088 Compaq Portable 1 system. Just need to get the drivers installed for the CMS and run some games to see how they perform. I'd say my card is worth every penny and I use my PVM for the audio and color display.

Bought Wyse VXO V90LE Thin Client for just 15 euro, Via Eden CPU at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM (replaced with 512MB), 1GB IDE DOM (waiting for upgraded one).
Bought it for two reasons: it is small and runs Win98SE, so it is usable for DOS gaming in Win98 emulation.
No sound and video problems in DOS (tested just few games), windows performance is average, 3DMark2001 scores 1162 point at 1024x768x32bit.
Here is a pic inside and some tests in DOS:

Well, I can now finally try out the oddly good ports of TIE Fighter and X-Wing on my G3 now, thanks to this cute little Gravis Mousestick II.

Refund came in....More stuff for the Versas on the way.

- 32MB RAM Card for the M/75
- 800x600 Screen for M/75 (I found the proper panel online for $20.00.....it'll be an upgrade)

Just got the 16MB RAM Module on e-bay I won for $15.00. That's in the V/50 right now.

Soon I'll be ordering a pair of large HDD for the 40EC and V/50 - Seagate Momentous, probably between 20-40GB, and 2 more power supplies. - then it's off to the Thrift Shop to look for bags for all four (I like my laptops to be complete sets, especially the vintage ones).

Nothing special today. An ASUS V3800 32M TNT2 Ultra. Quite generic, but I like it because I had it back in the day. It's missing the accessories, like the shutter glasses but I had/have no use for them anyway.

This controller is intended to be used with MFM hard disk drives, which will use both a 34-pin control cable and a 20-pin data cable. This controller supports 2 HDD. An example of such HDD is an Seagate ST-225.

I've never figured out who used "SUPER" on the BIOS sticker.

A lot of sites call the Ultra a Pro Ultra

Arrived today. The Quickshot is awesome, with great precision. The other is a generic stick with a cool feature that support use with both right or left hand, bit the coolness stops there hahaha

Got a newer ATX type PSU, which also provides negative 5V. Tested and working! And it weighs a ton! 😮 That's gonna be a great bench PSU for all kinds of PC testing, be it AT or ATX motherboard.
It cost me 3,9€ + 2€ shipping.

Now gonna need to clean it up nicely.

Nice! I have a similar one. Been using it for six months or so, no issues whatsoever.

It's also fairly quiet, which is a big plus in my book.
