Video and main bios now shadowed! Didn't make a difference to the Norton benchmark but I guess it'll speed up games and things.
I have tried some different memory, couldn't get it to boot at all and I've none else to try.
Perhaps I will just have to settle for a 286 that runs a low slower than it should. At least it works I guess.
normal dos programs should feel less sluggish with the bios shadow enabled.
Have you cleaned up the keyboard connector ? 😀
With the board running, try to get the bios in a file and uploaded here. One never knows when it might come be handy.

maybe some other good soul will drop by and tell you which programs to use and where to find'm to get the bios copied.
