Hi everyone!
I would like to share with you some pictures of an strange external HDD from LaCie I cannot put to work, perhaps because of missing drivers. I suspect it combines a parallel-to-SCSI interface of which I have been unable to find any information.
If anyone happens to know anything about it, please let me know because I am out of ideas xD
Thanks in advance!

... and it's SCSI, not parallel - some sort of mini 2.5" SCSI external HD - nice to own

Both of you are right!
After a bit of research taking into consideration the Mac world, Google did some magic and I found about this pocketdrive https://books.google.com.mx/books?id=l ... e&f=false :

I think I can get an adapter 50 pin SCSI2 to DB25 SCSI 1 that might work such as this one, perhaps?

That won't make it into a parallel port drive.

Now I am fully aware of it, but at first I truly thought it was using a parallel port xD

The only computer I have that I think I could use to connect this pocketdrive is an IBM RS/6000 43P-240 that has a LVD SCSI external interface originally for tapes, but able to accept external SCSI disks too. That interface I think is a 50 pin ultra2 SCSI and I was hoping that perhaps with the aforementioned adapter from eBay, I could make the pocketdrive work (if no special drivers are required)
