Just bought an angled Cartridge port extender/adaptor for Commodore64. One of those fancy ones in white case. It is for my Black Bessy, in order to have the PI1541-FastLoader upright to better be able to use the buttons and read the LCD.

Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
Those cakes make you sick....

I found a computer shop today that's about 3 hours from where I live. The guy had lots of BEIGE! Old new stock of later AT tower cases, keyboards, and a tons of everything.

If not for the drive and life, I'd be there every day like a kid in a candy shop. I was overwhelmed with what the guy had to pick through. Look forward to going back next time we head up that way.

I bought this stuff! 😁 😁 😁
Amiga 500 with memory expansion -- needs a PSU. Hopefully it works!
Commodore Vic 20 -- needs a PSU. Hopefully it works!
Vic 20 carts: Avenger, Gorf, Poker.
Commodore 1541 drive -- not sure if I have the right PSU, but will be buying new ones eventually.
Commodore 1702 Monitor, which WORKS!!! 😁 It still has the panel door, I just need to repair it.
ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP card that will fit in my P2 266 Digital Tower case.
CH Flight Stick.

I just spent over a week redoing my office to free up space just to find more clutter! Go figure.

After years of searching, I found a POD 83 and won the auction.

These are quite often listed on eBay...

I'm sure this isn't a particularly great card but I had a hard time passing up a good condition PCI video card for 5 dollars. It's a STB Systems "Nitro PCI 1.5" (at least, that's what the video BIOS chip label says) based around a Cirrus Logic CL-GD5434 chip and with I assume 2MB of video memory onboard, with expansion to 4MB.

Cool find! That's one of the more compatible cards for the BeBox running an older version of the OS, it took me a while to get a decently priced one years ago.

In the last 2 or 3 months, I received a Mac Mini G4, a few graphics cards, the most interesting being a Matrox Ultima Plus:

Some sound cards, Creative Labs CT2770 (plus a SB1290 USB) and the Buffalo/Melco SRI-PJ:

Is that an internal speaker on that card? It's huge!

Yes, it is, the volume wheel controls both the speaker and audio output level, also the onboard speaker is disabled when headphones or speakers are plugged in, thankfully!

Tested briefly and it works fine in DOS for digital audio only in games supporting Windows Sound System.

A CanoScan LiDE 120 scanner for €10.
A SoundBlaster 16 (ISA) with "a real OPL3 and really clean sound" for €50.

I've yet to be able to buy CRTs for real. People don't seem to remember their ads.

Nice buy! I looked at that, he has a lot up for sale. I put an offer in for another board but put the wrong amount I so might have annoyed them 😜

Was waiting for good price on these and I was burnt by a seller last year who sold me a Intel SSD instead of Micron P300. And that was from the USA.

Cheers,

Well, they were announced over 10 years ago, and produced not long after. So, it can be argued they're at least very on their way to retro.

Needs a little work but it appear to be minimal.

Noooo SSDs can't ever be retro! I thought I drew the line at USB, but surely there's a line at spinning rust disks?! 😁

If you want to be semantic about it, you could argue that EEPROMs were used like SSDs in some old game carts.
