I’m trying to play Primal Rage on my retro PC, and while the game itself runs fine, when playing with the keyboard all move combinations are a simplified version, different from the Arcade and console ports. This was done due to most keyboards not supporting more than three keys pressed at once and this game relies a lot on holding multiple buttons.
The only way to make the game use the regular move combinations is by using a 4 button joystick, but when I do so the button placement is weird and apparently cannot be changed.
So, does anyone knows if there is any command line parameter or hidden option that can either allow me to remap the joystick buttons or force the game to use the regular move combinations even using a keyboard? This way I can use a TSR to map the desired joystick buttons to keyboard keys.
Unfortunately I bought the game loose, so no manual (can’t find it online either) and the documentation provided in the CD does not help much.
