I have more than 400 cpus, maybe 450 by now, a lot of gpu-s - list not made yet, not so much soundcards, plenty of ram, 15-20 cases with motherboards, i am missing psu-s and at cases mostly, oldest motherbards from 386 up to amd am3+/s775 (most newer parts are win9x compatible). I like more amd cpus, and i love to use mobile cpus in destop pc-s. Mobile k6, mobile k6-2+, k6-3+ socket7, amd geode nx socket a, mobile sempron, turion 64 socket754, even for amd am3/3+ we have low power 20 - 25w cpus available single and dual core ones. 15-20pc-s would be possible to make, limited by motherboards, psu-s and at cases.

My old list of cpu-s, i should have more now.

Well, currently I do have two non-working Versa motherboards (M/75, UltraLite 25) that if I could get them working, I could build another Versa base unit or two using 3d printed parts and/or some creative hardware hacking. And I have both the guts of a 640x480 screen assembly that would need some repair/modification, and a touch screen enclosure that I'm restoring for the M/75 to make an 800x600 touch screen with once I fix some plastic and find an apropriate digitizer.

But for a desktop, forget it still. Every desktop is the house is in fully working order 100%, so is every together laptop, and only some spares here or there to keep em' alive really if you count the stuff above.

same here for desktops, most of the stuff is in operational PCs already

I don't really have any more spare parts. I've sold and given away a lot of parts before I moved to my new house.

I don't really see myself as a collector and do not care about getting all variants of some type of tech. I only buy stuff I think I can actually use for one of my retro systems.

If you mean fully build, I don't have a free PC case to use. If I had, I'd already built something in it.

If you mean putting something together on the desk that works, I could build maybe 3. For the 4th I don't have a PSU.

Can I build a pc from spare parts?
Yes, a few.

Some have a new pc and have only that, maybe two and a laptop.

Some others have been collecting for years and have vaults of spare parts including a G.E.C.K. or two.

It was a find and despite being a little pricey, I had a 'why not' moment after I looked at everything I'd already spent on the build. The seller very kindly bundled an original copy of Windows XP SP2 on disc as well.
