It looks identical to the GeForce 4 mx460 I bought a few years back. But that could be any GeForce card that gpu and ram cooling solution was used on a ton of cards.

Geforce 2 or Geforce 3. Geforce 4 had a distinctive and different looking cooler.

Got these two at the end of last year, both still sealed.
This will complement my two ASUS P3B-F setups.
I'm looking forward to unsealing, breaking that packaging open, then then trying to work out what to store on the Jaz disks 😀

added: near exact layout as my 64mb. the socket headers are for an add on TV out part.

I was fortunate enough to snag a "computer parts" listing locally on FB. The seller told me they worked at Radio Shack in the 90s and early 00s, and were into building PCs but moved on to other interests years ago. I am particularly excited about the AWE64 Gold and the CRT. Thus far I have only tested the tower PC and monitor, which work fine. I had not used a high resolution CRT in a long time, that was nice. Next I need to rearrange my computer setup to make room for the CRT.

Got a $1 beige box custom PC build from circa 2003?ish from an estate sale.
Main event is this sweet purple motherboard with bad caps (already have the caps just gotta get soldering)

Probably will use it for a Windows 98 build, though the lack of ISA slots really sucks.

Also scored a Radeon 9800XT in the same system. Will probably try to sell it. Some caps were... like falling out of the board. Soldered them back in, tested it and it works great at least on Jedi Knight Dark Forces II, a game that refuses to load a level on my Voodoo 5 5500.

Socket 462(A) with DDR/SD-RAM? You paid a wonderful price for that system.

It's also compatible with low power AMD Geode CPUs. Add the universal AGP slot and you have one of the best Socket A motherboards for retro computing.

as noted by others - what a great buy! i was thinking "what bad caps?" until half way down, but i'm sure it'll be good as new when you are done

i wouldn't worry about the lack of ISA, to me that board says Athlon XP and Windows XP. i'd be happy with that

Wow, nice buy. Nothing special, but unordinary purple/violet beauty from ECS. I remember dark brown/almost black K7S5A with SiS 735, which I have years ago. Pretty cheap, but usable board for AMD Duron and Athlon, none OC options (except several FSB/MEM frequencies in Cheepo BIOS from Cheepoman http://www.ocworkbench.com/2002/ecs/k7s5abios/cheepobios.htm). I had no idea there was a Pro version.
And for missing ISA - You can already use some PCI audio, even with FM.

Very nice Gravis hardware. I live in BC and these frequently show up in thrift shops. I haven't found a Gravis Pro joystick yet so the hunt continues. Very nice, I'm jealous.
