Hello there,

I have a problem when running DOSBox in full screen. What is blue turns red, white turns green, etc.

This is a screen shot of the full screen mode:

And this is the normal colors in windowed mode:

This behaviour happens in everygame.

I'm using a Dell Inspiron Notebook, Duo Core. The video card is a ATI Mobility Radeon X1400, 256MB.

Try another output in dosbox.conf, or another driver for your ATI Mobility Radeon X1400.

Thanks for the help. It worked great! I'm using ddraw, it worked better for me!

Hm what's your operating system? And is ddraw the only working output?

I'm using Windows XP Home Edition SP2.
I tried all possible outputs:
The Surface mixed up the color in Full Screen; openglnb makes things very slow, like a .5 seconds pause every second; and overlay, opengl, ddraw worked great. Didn't see much difference between them, so I chose the ddraw.

OpenGL will be slow in XP if you do not have the ATI drivers from ATI installed. If you are using the default Windows drivers (or the ones from Windows update) then they do not include the OGL ICD which means you are using a OGL to D3D wrapper included with XP which will make all OGL applications slow.

My notebook came with a preinstalled windows with all the necessary drivers installed as well. So I believe I'm not using the windows drivers. Anywayz, I'm quite happy with the ddraw performance. (I didn't test too many games though)
