Hello everyone.

Recently I got a box of soundcards and in them an OPTi with modem interface. Almost 35cm long 😮
My google searches to identify the card haven't been fruitful and my experience with OPTi cards unfortunately is close to zero.

Attached some pics of the card.

according to this https://fccid.io/EUD5U9BRI4545 , it's a Boca Research Modem/Sound Card.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

I think I have exactly the same card:

According to the RJ11 jack and it's components I'm pretty sure it is an analog modem /sound and not an ISDN/sound combo card, but in the DSL/FTTH days this doesn't play any role. Sound section is good, genuine Yamaha opl3 and fully SB2.0 / WSS compatible Opti/Crystal chipset. Mine is a bit noisy, just for the real 90's Charme I guess 😀 and isn't it a beautiful full-sized card?
