Hi everyone, first post here on this forum. Trying to re-build the old family i486 DX2 computer and I was wondering if the Gigabyte GA486AM/S is compatible with EDO RAM. I don't see any mention of EDO in the motherboard's manual, any clue on this ?

If you've got EDO sticks, try them, they run FPM if not supported. If you're wanting to buy some, when you've already got FPM for it, wait for answer, if you've got no sticks for it, and EDO will cost you same as FPM then again, may as well try them.

Edit: Gut feeling is it does, pretty much every board with PCI, and every board with low voltage support seemed to support.

Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
